There are combinations of gears in several transmissions that can fit in that trans incorrectly. It might be easiest to find a donor tractor in a salvage yard and swap out the two gears. as a set. Be careful to assess the condition of the Fifth gear splines on the 4th/5th slider, and the input shaft. They are often toast on tractors that have been raked into 5th from 4th 20,000 times. They must have clean straight sides and little wear to be sure of having a good fifth gear. Jim
