The Cub PTO turns at engine RPM and in the same direction. There is a straight line from the crankshaft pulley to the PTO pulley.
All other IH tractors have a parallel PTO shaft which is reduced in speed with a gear set.
You have to understand that the Cub is a cheaply made tractor and has abundant shortcomings. Get used to it.
Rotate the pump foot mount 180. If the pump has an input shaft on both sides, it will simplify the rotation as you can use the same bolt holes on the sprayer frame.
