If he won't price it he doesn't want to sell it very bad. That is a real pet peeve of mine. Somebody has something they supposedly want to sell but they won't price it. They are greedy. They are afraid to price it because they are worried that you might have paid more than they were asking. Anyway, if the hours are correct and that is a big if that is extremely low hour tractor for that age. I would really want to see some service records for the tractor and then look it over with a fine tooth comb to determine what kind of care it had. Frequent fluid and filter changes were essential to the long term health of those hydros. If the hydro and motor check out well and the tires are decent you would probably be looking at $10,000 in this area if it had fenders instead of a cab. It would be worth less if it had a cab. Those cabs were junk. The year around and hinikers were terrible and the factory were only marginaly better. If it has one of the factory cabs it had better have a functioning AC unit because you are gonna bake in it if it doesn't. Since he won't set the price I would really low ball him and then let him counter offer and go from there.
