The fuel shutoff was probably left on. (this sounds like a bossy thing, but the tank valve must be turned off between uses. Even 15 minutes can make the issue happen. I would disconnect the coil, Remove the spark plugs, and crank it till all the fuel is out of the cylinders. Also check the opil, it can run into the oil and dilute it to ruin the engine. If it smells of gasoline, or if a small amount in a tin cup will ignite with a match, it needs to be changed. The needle and seat ar likely to be leaking some, and if the fuel is turned on it will fill the intake system (gravity feed). A new needle and seat and float adjustment will fix the real issue, but do shut off the fuel. Jim
