I think he is referring to the fact that you have 2 "rock shafts" on the touch control. I'd jump on it if the tractor is decent. As for the flywheel...what could be wrong other than the ring gear???? I bought one a while ago....21 dollars from an IH dealer!!!!!!!!! yes you have to split it, but the C is light...no biggie...One suggestion...just to satisfy yourself...get a big screw driver and remove the cover, and manually try to move the flywheel....see if its tight...I can't imagine what he's referring to other than the ring gear...unless the flywheel is loose. You could even take the starter off and check it there. Go for it! Its only $$$. Besides that...how many people are lucky enough to have a C!!!
