If your only concern is to stop the oil from leaking between the rear axle housing and the rear frame you can support the rear frame and slide the axle housing out about an inch. Use a couple of guide pins or longer bolts to keep the axle housing aligned. That is as far as it will go without removing the bull gear from the axle. clean the axle housing and rear frame and use a bead of RTV silicone sealer in place of the gasket. The castings must not have any oil on them for the silicone to seal.
The correct way would be to remove the axle and housing so that the inner seal can be replaced. If you remove the PTO it is possible to remove the bull gear retainer from the inside end of the axle through that opening. It is not too bad to do if you have the original style axles. Replacement axles used a snap ring instead of two bolts so they can be a bit more difficult.
