Will, I believe that the gearing is the same. The A came standard with 8-24 rear tires and speeds were; Forward: 2 1/4, 3 1/2, 4 5/8, and 9 5/8 Reverse: 2 3/4. The AV came standard with 8-36 rear tires and speeds were; Forward: 2 7/8, 4 5/8, 6 1/8, and 12 3/4, and Reverse 3 5/8. These faster speeds were due to larger tire diameter rather than different gearing. Harold H
