My F-12 idles beautifully but stumbles when the throttle is advanced quickly or the governor calls for more power. Most of the time it quits completely but will readily restart (I have to roll it as I'm too old to crank it!) I have noticed that the idle air screw can be closed or even removed without effecting the idling of the tractor. The carb and fuel pump were removed and cleaned and fresh clean gas installed with no change. Could there be a passage blocked somewhere that was missed? It ran fine 3 years ago when it was put away and it checks out perfect electrically. Any suggestions will be appreciated; I'm getting frustrated! Thanks.
