Can anyone inform me as to what type of original cover or plug was used to close the clutch release bearing lubrication hole on the left side of the clutch housing/torque tube on a 1945 Farmall A tractor? Was the hole covered with a plug or left open? If closed was the cover or plug rubber or metal and are covers still available? Also, did the original A hand crank have a metal spinner sleeve and what was the length from the engine pulley end of the handle to the first 90 degree bend? I have seen several different length cranks and was curious to know what was original to these tractors? Thanks for any and all replies....
