The countershaft coupling at the front of the transmission (the one that drives the belly pump)is threaded on the shaft. There is no key. It unscrews counter clockwise. To get it off, get a bar that fits in the slot of the coupling. Put the pto in gear and lock the pto shaft so it can't turn. I use an old pto universal joint with a bar in it. Then put your bar in the slot of the coupling and pull in the proper direction. It it does not break loose, give the bar a few sharp raps with a hammer. You can also make a tool to use with an impact wrench that will fit in the slot of the coupling.
