Nothing wrong with the JD A, but if you think anyone on the IH forum is going to say you done good... :roll:
Only problem I see with the JDs is if you are in an antique tractor club, the JD guys think they own the club... that's not a problem with the tractor.
I was raised on JDs as the bigger tractors and Farmalls as the chore/cultivating small tractor (this was MANY years ago when a 35-40HP tractor was a big tractor)... I have been lucky enough over the years to run several sizes and brands and they all have their good and bad points. A JD with a Sound-Guard cab is the best to spend all day on.
