And I let it sit for 2 months till I seen ATF driping off the bottom side of the piston's It still wouldn't turn. So I pulled the head and the liner is cracked and the block is cracked behind the liner. Glad I didn't fight with trying to get it to turn over. lol Anyway I found a Good Farmall 450 engine block for a reasonable price. I just want to put new 450 rings, liners, and piston's and a new set of bearings and use all my old parts from my junk M engine. Head, crank, rods, timeing covers. Will this work?
I don't see why not, the guy I bought my tractor from had an M he lengthened the frame to put a 300 diesel motor in it (100 hp) I think the 450 motor should be a bolt in. But I am no expert
