While an online tire store will have lower prices, unless it is within driving distance, you'll end up paying TOO MUCH after shipping.
Plus, good luck getting a local tire guy to install your online tires... Usually the local installers won't put tires on for you unless you bought the tires from them.
Local tire shop will be competitive, or even beat the online store's price after you take shipping into consideration.
