Hi Bford74, you are referring to part number 667563R2, CAM, knotter jaw closing. Had a similar problem on a 46 knotter. The problems were, first the Cam was binding in the mounting slot in the knotter frame and sometimes the Cam would hang up in the mounting notch in the knotter frame, second the Cam did not have the proper shape, the curved part that contacted the roller on the bill hook was not making proper contact for the tie cycle. Had to use acetylene torch to heat and make it the same as the good knotter.
