I have a 1953 Super H that I am doing some govenor work on. When I took the govenor all the way off, I noticed that where the linkage meshes with the carburator, the rod is all messed up and worn out on the end. It also looks like someone tried a "farmer" fix on it and welded on the end of it so it would still make contact with the carb. My question is I found a new linkage rod to go from the carb to the govenor, but it fits the M and 400 series. Will this rod work on mine?
