Is there a difference in early M and later M oil filter base sizes? I have a early 41' with a big base and tall canister. I bought the spin on filter conversion kit today from my local dealer, but it does not even come close to fitting the filter base. It is way too small in diameter. According Case/IH online, the H & M take the same filter, so I would think there must have been a change somewhere along the line. Thanks!
