Mia, Since you have lost some coolant from the location identified, I doubt that you have a leak. This is the vent release to the radiator and the tube is to route overflow away from the operator and the radiator. Normally the radiator cap seals below the area where you preceive that you have a leak and coolant does not escape. Your Cub has a thermal syphon system and as you are aware things expand when heated. Old equipment does not have a coolant recovery as do more modern machines and the excess has to go somewhere. I have to run my radiator with the coolant filled only to the top of the fins inside the radiator to create the expansion space. If you will leave the coolant level in your radiator several inches below the area where the radiator cap seals the "leaking" will most likely cease.
