Well.....

I undressed her and found a little rats nest of wiring. The .5 amp fuse had blown for the lights ( Hmmmm.. duhhh ), the wire harness connector was in ugly shape and replaced the fuse holders, ingnition switch and the fuse to a 10 amp. ( 3 lights at 35 watts and a little 10 watt bulb ).
Replaced wiring and then hooked her back up. System check.... light switch started smoking. Dang. Followed the schematic to exact specs... tried it again, this time I just watched to see if the switch would burn... nope.. just that wire resistor between terminals for dim lights.. burning off dirt and stuff. LOL.

Anyhoot, greased every nipple I could find and tightened bolts that became loose. All seems to be running smooth.

Next step... sharpen the blades, which leads me to my next question.... which way do the bolts turn on the RM59 woods mower to loosen them? I tried and tried... even used a manly 4 foot wrench.
