If you go with new sleeves and have that crankshaft checked for wear and install new bearings it will last another 50 years with periodic maintenance. Be sure to clean that area below where your new seals for your sleeves are installed of any rust or dirt. When I did this A back in 1975 the sleeve kit was $80.00 from my local IH dealer. The whole tractor was in sad shape, but for $100.00 I shouldn't complain that included the 16-inch moldboard plow. Hal
