We just brought home a 1949 Super A today that we rescued from an overgrown field. They guy pulled it out of the barn yesterday and pulled it about 500 feet in an overgrown field to die under a dead oak tree.
The motor is stuck, and he said it was running 3 yrs ago, so we hope to get it going without too much work. We're going to pull the head though and go from there.
Anyways.....I noticed a place on the front right corner of the nose/grille and was wondering what decal used to be stuck there. I thought it was an odd place for a decal, and haven't seen it before. Take a look at the picture and let me know what yall think. I was thinking maybe a dealer decal because I've seen them on tractors before and thats close to the shape and size....but its an odd place to put one though.
