Hello, I"ve got a couple hydraulics questions regarding my Farmall M. I"ve inherited this great tractor and found an old front end loader that I"d like to add. The belly pump has two NPT ports on the left side and an NPT port on the right. I"ve been able to verify that there is some pressure building on the right side port, but am unclear as to the function of the left ports. Are they both return lines? Is the right side port the only high pressure supply? I"ve also found that to get any pressure I have to pull the pump actuation rod far past the bump/notch on the rod that I thought would have been the run position. What"s going on here? Thanks in advance for your help.
