My Farmall H parts catalog TC-27E shows a change in grilles at s/n 49750 and up. It appears the change is in how the grille is attached to the chassis. Prior to s/n 49750 the catalog calls out four fastener springs secured to the grille with rivets eight places (probably two at each spring location) and beginning at s/n 49750 they are installed with four screws. I thought there might be some difference at the radiator cap opening as the early ones might not have had the "keyhole" type cutout. You might want to do a "pre-fit" of the grille to the chassis to see if the attaching screws will line up and everything looks correct. Best of luck in your project and show us some photos when the time is right, Hal.
