Have had the hood off the "new" tractor for a week now trying to get it running right (whole nother story...)
In looking at everything that is under the hood area, I got to wondering if maybe the top radiator hose might actually be original.
The rubber part is hard as a rock, but since the motor and radiator do not move independent of each other, it does not leak and is still doing its job of keeping coolant flowing between the engine and radiator.
I know the bottom radiator hose is a replacement because it looks fairly new (ie - 20 years or so) and has the modern screw clamps holding it on...
I am thinking I need to pull the radiator so I can back flush it, so the hose's days are numbered. I just wanted to know if this could be the hose IH installed back in 1952 when this SC was built and sold?
Thanks ahead and I have enjoyed looking up lots of helpful information on this forum.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
