If someone gets a chance, please measure the OD on the air pipe on your SC or SA. the pre-cleaner I found at a flea market, has an OD of 1 5/8" and an ID of 1 1/2". It appears to be built to go over top of the pipe, and not in it.
Another interesting thing, is that the jar threads are for a standard jar, not a wide mouth (which I posted earlier). This also had yellow paint on it (or remnants there of) which makes me think this is off of an industrial SA. The clamp was really interesting too, as it is cast iron, and VERY heavy.
