Wondering what you red blooded guys have to say about the 1256 and the 1456 Farmall. I would be buying one to use on the farm not in a parade. One of it's specific jobs would be running the blower at the silo, where the more power the merrier! There is not much info on the 1456 at tractor data so any tech. info would be welcome. I do need 540 PTO so would be looking for one with both shafts. I've always been a green blooded sort so any particular things to look for with these two? Cautionary notes about them in general? Our neighbor had a 1206 when I was growing up and I've had a soft spot for them ever since.
