Have a 1945 AV and was wondering about the brakes. Going forward it stops fine. Going backwards is a different story. Have a lot of hills here and it is scary sometimes backing down a grade. No fluid on bands, just seems like they do not work very good backwards, most times using both feet and a prayer to stop! Looked at them many times and need to know what I am missing. If I know I'll be in a situation like that anymore I just use another machine. Thanks in advance, Allan.
