What is not known for sure is whether or not the entire Jan-March production was white. I believe Guy Fay said they may have done some, quit for a while and then did some more. They apparantly were not mixed on the production line. SO, the serial is not a sure thing. Most people will agree that the tractor is "probably" correct with the correct serial and visible white under the red. However on my "white" C, I stripped ALL the white and red off and repainted it red. So several things can go wrong. SO, I don't think it really makes them worth any more, maybe a couple hundred for one unrestored, $500-$1000 for a restored one. Best thing to do is to take pride in what you have, if anyone is proud of their "white" C, restored or not, so be it. But they are not worth the $10000 I have seen a couple advertised for.

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
