Les Repair I need help!

Les, back on June 12 you advised someone to check the wear on the 4 gear as a possible cause of his machine slipping out of gear. I am rebuilding my H, which hasn't run in 20 years. I looked at my 4th gear and it is worn back. Do you know how much wear is too much? Hate to put the thing back together just to take it apart again. I have not pulled the top of the transmission housing yet to look at the other gears, but plan to soon.
