So I posted a while back about an A that the PO said shot oil out the exhaust. This is what I have found since I bought it.
I believe the A has a blown head gasket which would explain the water in the bottom of the oil pan and the slight loss of coolant. I did a compression test and came up with 85-95 psi on cylinders 1,3,and 4. Cylinder 2 only had about 55-60 psi which would make sense if the gasket is blown around the no. 2 cylinder. The compression test was done with the hand crank so it may actually be a little higher on all of the cylinders. I hope to get the head off this weekend and will let you know what I find from there.
Thanks for all of your suggestions from the last time.
