some small advice. unless you are very accomplished, don't rebuild the carb until after the ignition tune-up. when the tune-up is dead on, (nailed!) - then do the carb. the H carb is simplicity, if you clean it out well and replace all required parts. before mounting rebuilt carb, test it by filling float chamber to level *higher* than main venturi jet, see that gas rises throughout the low idle and main venturi shafts, and spills over the main jet - otherwise, the carb won't function correctly. the passage between the main needle valve assembly and the main shaft has a brass fitting. it must be cleaned out well. good luck, RKS
