stuck adjustable front axle

I just bought a Farmall A. I'm trying to move out the front wheels to 60". One side came out but the other one won't budge. I've tried WD-40, a sledgehammer, and heating it with a MAPP torch but the inner tube seems to be rusted pretty good to the axle. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.
