Betty look under the oil bath air cleaner assembly to see if a ID tag is on the clutch bell housing. From Guy Fay's book, the earliest Super M was built in 1952. It will have a sn between 501 and 12515. If it was built in Louisville, it will be between 500001 and 501905. If that tag is missing, look around the number one spark plug (closest to the radiator) and you will see an engine sn. It may not match the frame. Run a WTB on classifieds for the precleaner jar. You will get responses. I don't think you put gas in it though. From the picture, I see you have disc brakes so a good probability that it is a Super.
