I didn't specifically ask for it to be magnafluxed. I did however tell them to go through everything and if anything was in question replace it. Does 1800.00 sound right for a short block rebuild, new sleeves, pistons, mains, head rebuilt, really everything new except valve seats. But this is really not the main issue, the fact remains I need a head and wondering is this going to be a pain to find or is this head used on more than just a 300 U (cast stamp 361479-R1) I looked through the classified ads but I really don't know what I should be looking for. What other tractors used a c169 engine. Thanks for any input
