Bett, Haven't had my 706 very long, still working out the bugs myself with help from an old IH man. Make dang sure you have good gas flow at the Carb. Then make sure your points haven't slip. Mine has when we put new points in didn't get tight enough they moved tractordid the same thing your explaining. Try those things first. Not much help but its a start. Matt
