Modern day dealerships are very reluctant to let a customer talk to someone that might know what is going on. That is one of the very reasons I quit CaseIH dealership that had been recently bought by a corporate group after my boss of 33 years retired. One parts man is the only one I really know as we worked at same dealership previously so he is really good to deal with. If I need to borrow a tool or something I go to the John Deere dealer I last worked at. They always treated me great, of course a little red and green back and forth.
