If your friend is looking for industrial type bearings such as ball bearings and tapered roller bearings or seals such as Chicago Rawhide or National, most large bearing houses are considerably less expensive than the dealers for any brand (Chevrolet, Ford, Case IH, John Deere, Cat). The main drawback is that you will have to have a part number for bearing or seal from the bearing or seal manufacturer, not the dealer OEM part number. The other option is to carry the part to your supplier of your choice. The web site for a major bearing, seal and power transmission house is listed below. They have stores throughout the country. www.motionindustries.com
