Shifting forks are welded to the shift rails. 300 forks fit the 300 sliding gears, SH forks don't. 300 shift rails don't have the slots for popet balls and other in the correct location when used on a SH cover. When using A SH cover on a 300 trans. the 300 forks need to be welded to SH shift rails
in the correct location or 300 shift rails modified and slots cut in the correct location. SH center and 300 T/A housings are the same length.
Frame rails are longer on a 300. Use SH frame rails, radiator and shrould, , center steering and gas tank support, rear gas tank support and the SH sheet metal will work like it should. If using a Stage 2 SH hydraulic reservior the stage 2 SH tractors used a fuel tank with the outlet more to rear to clear the reservior.
