Look at the serial tag and the suffix letters there. it may be a trans drive PTO as noted below. Check that and also if it has no TA it is less likely to work. Also if that shaft will spin with the main clutch pushed down, but not with the clutch engaged, it is a non live PTO tractor. if it will not spin unless the engine is running and is not affected by the clutch, it is probably a live PTO system on the tractor. One last thing is the New PTO equipped with an axle mounted lever that operates a cylinder shaped linkage on the side of a rather large housing with a Pnut shaped small cap on top? If not it might be a non live new PTO. Jim
