I have a "1947" C it has all november(Q)1947 casting date codes with the exception of the touch control,March 48,R, date code. PTO casting is "X" date code and fast hitch is off of a 53 SC. Fast hitch tool box still has the SC serial # on it. Yes my C has a fasthitch on it. Obviously these last 2 components were added later. Serial # is 1803, original seat and tool box was noticed up in the rafters at the last minute, and motor is 1844. These are the closest tractor/engine serial #'s I've seen since I started paying attention to that a couple years ago.
