In the South, a TA delete tractor is more desirable as a working tractor due to the type of operator employed on large farms. One less thing for the complacent operators to destroy, I guess.
Around here, a smart buyer will factor the cost of a TA replacement into what they'd be willing to pay for a tractor. As Cowman says, you can't trust them to be working; they're usually worn out.
That said, a factory TA delete tractor would be worth even LESS around here because the TA is a desirable option, especially on a working tractor. Hills and variable ground conditions make the TA indispensable.
