I.ve been working on a 49 Super A that was converted to a battery ignition and I wanted to return it to original so I rebuilt the magneto replacing the plugs. wires, cap, rotor button. set the new points to .0015 thought I did everything right. Started on the 3rd pull. Did the rough timing and it runs fine at idle but pops back through the carb once in a while. Under load or when you open the throttle the missing gets worse. Getting plenty of gas but the adjustment on the Zenith carb seems to have little or no effect on it. Didn't go into the engine so I don't believe I changed anything regarding the timing. Any help or advice would be appreciated
