I had a blacktop scaring this summer with my 13' RW (shh, don't tell anybody I pull green implements) behind the MD. When I pulled over for a car, the ditch wheel dropped enough to let the gangs hit the blacktop. That is A LOT of noise.
I will try and let the plow run lower when I am on the road. I usually jack it all the way up. If you jab the steering wheel to the left quick it will usually pull decent for a minute or two then start wagging again.
I am pretty excited. I have a verbal contract on a 3-16 so I can upgrade from my 3-14. I have to go soil sample the farm tomorrow and I am going to scope out how to get it out of the woods. The guy told me anything there was mine for scrap price. That works for me! Now I need the TA in the SMTA to really go to town. I am working on picking up a couple 6-10 acre hay fields next year that I would like to plow up this fall. Buying all of my pig feed will drive me to the poor house!
