Hey Everybody, I have a 40 acre hobby farm and have decided I need a tractor. I've been looking and thinking for months now (I even have permission from the wife!), and have decided I would like to get a farmall 300 rowcrop. This tractor seems to be of the right size and vintage that I would like, and has features that I want, like live pto and hydraulics. I looked at one tonight that was pretty clean but it has some problems too. The ta is out and it would need new tires eventually. It has a two point hitch with what looks to be worksaver parts for a 3 point conversion. The question I have about this is that there is no drawbar and it doesn't look like there is any way to put one on because of the hitch. Is this correct? The other thing that concerned me was that the ta lever is gone and I couldn't really see where it belonged on the tractor. Can someone post a picture or perhaps a line drawing out of a manual that would show the ta side of the tractor? The guy that is selling it bought from a place that sells and rebuilds tractors and I have a hunch that they pulled all of the ta stuff out before selling it to the current owner. I'll probably be calling on you guys a lot as Ive only recently been infected with farmall fever! Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
