Farmall 400D

Last weekend I found an 400D row crop at yard in Wisconson. It's not running(not stuck either) and has gas pony engine, sheet metal all there, fast hitch and good rubber for $425.00. Not very familar w/Diesels only gassers. What kind expense, parts avaibility am I looking at on a rebuild. And also some history on the 400 Diesel engine. Thank you,
