There were 148969 made from 1932 to 1939. This is a pretty high number, but age and the like takes its toll on the total numbers. Your serial number, if correct and the XX stands for real numbers, would indicate a it is a 1938. Yours is in the last 25% of production...collectors like the last year or last 10% of production if only produced for 1-3 years. I don't know if records were kept on the narrow rear axle and I don't have any books available. On the bright side, parts are more available on tractors built in large numbers. Location and condition are the major determining factors, but a working condition tractor probably starts at $800 and goes up from there to about 80% of the cost of a complete restoration or $2200-$2800...but then I'm purly speculating based on a limited number of observations.
