I used to blade the driveway with my 450 and a heavy 7 ft MF blade without chains until I moved back to Iowa. After the first winter here I realized I needed chains, found a set and put them on. Worked great for about ten minutes, I now own a v plow 5ft not by choice. Be careful about what you run into with all that added traction the tires might not be the first thing to let go. BTDT
