Naw, One thing I am sure of is that it isn t a part failure issue. My father and grandfather bought this one at auction in 63, and it has always been this way,and after thousands upon thousands of hours in the fields and down the roads it never failed or made any noises at all. I thought maybe someone had added something in there such as a limited slip,as the tractor had many other M&W parts on it when they got it. I own it now, and don t plan on tearing her apart as it is quiet as a mouse in the rear.
