The 60 series wiring shows two six volt batteries wired in series to produce twelve volts. This same scheme was used in the John Deere 50, 60, and 70 tractors using rather large batteries. The JD's could accomodate a large (1200 CCA) 12V battery in the battery compartment (under the seat cushion). I had a JD model 50 with the aforementioned battery. It would really spin it over. A smaller 500-600 CCA battery just did not have the power.My brother has a 560D I am trying to get the loan of and I could see where there would be a problem trying to manuever a large battery into the battery compartment. If I get it I plan to use two six volt batteries as large as will fit in the tray.
