I'm sorry to rain on your parade but I don't think stuff back then was made as good as today. Back then you wouldn't get 100,000 miles on a car engine. Today they go for 500,000 miles. Quite frankly, I think stuff is made better today but we like the old machines because they were made pretty good for the technology available at that time. Sorry guys, but I have to be honest.
