This afternoon I was going through some things and came across a Franklin Mint Collector Knife my son and his wife gave me for Christmas a couple years ago. It is still in its case as I wouldn't want to ruin it, and it has rested in a special place ever since they gave it to me. Taking it out, I wiped it off and gave it a good looking over for nostalgia sake. On one side of the blade it says OEM which I doubt, but on the other side below "STAINLESS" it says "CHINA"! I don't know how much my kids paid for this, and I do appreciate their thoughtfulness, but I think they were ripped off by a company that relies on the American image. Please add your thoughts, at the moment I am VERY disappointed! Yeah, and I know it is just a knife, but it is the thought that counts--and they were taken!
